I’d experienced coaching in a previous organisation and found it helpful, so when I reached a point in my career where I wanted to further develop my communication skills—particularly in how I respond in challenging situations—I knew it was time to explore coaching again. I was seeking practical strategies, but also something deeper to support my growth in a demanding role that required me to navigate complex problems, work closely with stakeholders, and balance competing priorities across internal and external teams.

The coaching I received from Richard was far beyond anything I’d experienced before. His approach completely shifted the way I see and respond to situations. One exercise that particularly stood out was a role play where I was asked to embody the other person in a challenging interaction. That experience never left me. It pushed me to develop genuine empathy and see things through someone else’s lens, which has profoundly influenced how I manage difficult conversations and relationships.

Richard creates a space that is completely free from judgment. His coaching invites deep reflection, creative thinking, and most of all, personal accountability. He has a rare talent for helping you uncover the strengths and insights that already exist within you—but that you may not have recognised or valued.

After every session, I left feeling energised, focused, and full of ideas to action. His questions stay with you long after the session ends, and I found myself reflecting more consciously on my behaviours, mindset, and choices. I’ve grown not only professionally, but personally, in ways I didn’t expect.

If you're looking for a coach who will challenge you with compassion, help you think differently, and support your development with integrity and insight, I would highly recommend working with Richard. His coaching is transformative—especially if you’re ready to grow.

“I had always struggled with a lack of confidence and imposter syndrome, from this I sought coaching to improve my confidence, and to help me feel more secure in my abilities and my future.

On a personal and professional level, I have found the experience of being coached really useful. This has led to me thinking more openly and differently especially when interacting with people and how others might feel. I now feel more confident in my networking abilities which is vital for my professional and my personal life, and I have found an increase in my confidence which has allowed me to flourish in my career.

What stood out for me in the coaching process was how small steps can make a huge difference to my confidence and future self. Richard’s approach was very effective in finding some of the causes of my issues and offering sensible step-by-step approaches and improving mechanisms that could help me to improve my confidence and self-belief.

I have definitely seen a massive increase in my confidence and self-belief since doing coaching. This has led me to move careers, move cities, and to gain 3 promotions in 5 years. I feel the coaching launched my mindset to think more positively on my career and overall life.

I would recommend coaching to others even if it is to improve on the smallest of matters as the small steps can make a huge difference to our mindsets, skills, and outlook.

I would highly recommend Richard to be a coach to anyone. As a person he is kind, honest, respectful, and nurturing in his approach. He is also highly experienced in the business world and in managing a range of different personalities and how to get the best out of everyone.”
